Review by Stephany Spencer-LeBaron:
THE LAST OF THE RED HOT LOVERS
by Ethel Ann Schaffer

The Last of the Red Hot Lovers
is a spicy memoir written by gorgeous nonagenarian
Ethel Ann Shaffer who reconnected at eighty with a classmate, fell in love, and got married.
In this steamy story, Ethel Ann shares with honesty
what goes on behind closed doors under covers when two octogenarians connect.
I first met amazing Ethel Ann in 2006 at a Romance Writers of America meeting
where I bought and was enthralled by her well-written romance novel Secret Torment.
Soon thereafter we met again and chatted at a California Writers Club meeting
where she was Editor and also contributor to the Club’s newsletter.
Then later voted in as President. And what a special President she was.
But what most fascinated me was when she, a beauty at eighty, walked in with her handsome energetic eighty-one-year-old boyfriend. Later Ethel Ann took me aside,
and in her personable and honest way, shared with me
some of the sexy romance going on between them.
When I learned what was possible between two in-love octogenarians,
I begged her to write and publish her tell-all tale so others would know there was spectacular sex after seventy and then some.
I was thrilled when I learned she had written and published her sex after eighty memoir. Once you read this entertaining and enlightening page-turner,
you will see why I say this book should be in every Public Library.
