MY LIFE’S A WRECK

My LIFE’S A TRAIN WRECK
My life’s been something of a wreck,
Thanks to moronic Fundy fools
Who raised me in “Heck”!
Distress and deprivation
Have often been the worst!
Wonder why I’ve been so cursed.
Though lately my life has reversed
‘Cause I regularly rehearse
Gratitude, compassion, and mirth!
Yet I’ve been well-versed,
Rehearsed in tribulation.
With lips partly pursed,
I thirst for guidance and rebirth,
To be rid of this cursed
Wretchedness and dearth
Wherein often I’m immersed
So relentlessly ’tis terse!
But Hope Springs eternal.
Tomorrow I’ll begin again,
Expecting to triumph and win …
Somewhere eternally,
Out there in Eternity …
Hopefully …
But who knows when.
